TERM CONTRACT FOR SERVICING OF BACKUP GENERATORS IN CHRIS HANI DISTRICT FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS

Overview

Term contract for servicing of backup generators in Chris Hani District for 12 months. Open to contractors with CIDB Grade 2ME or higher and relevant electrical/mechanical servicing capability; CIDB registration prior to award (or ability to register) and compliance with tax and supplier database requirements (CSD/CRS) are mandatory (Tender Document).

Requirements

• CIDB Grade 2ME or higher in the relevant class of works; CIDB CRS number or ability to register prior to evaluation.
• CIDB registration of all JV partners where applicable;lead partner meets 1ME+ and total at least 2ME as per CIDB rules.
• Tax compliance verified via SARS, CSD status, and provision of PIN/CSD numbers as required; non-compliance can disqualify.
• Completion and submission of returnable documents: Form of Offer, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, Record of Addenda, etc. (Returnable documents in T2.1/T2.2).
• Evidence of CIDB/Supplier checks and the ability to sign NEC3 Term Service Contract; security vetting prior to award; confidentiality.
• Health, safety and POPIA considerations embedded in contract documents; OH&S requirements per the attached specification (Tender Document).
