TERM CONTRACT FOR SERVICING OF BACKUP GENERATORS IN CHRIS HANI DISTRICT FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS

Overview

Procurement of a 12-month term contract for servicing backup generators in the Chris Hani District, to be executed under an NEC3 Term Service Contract for CIDB 2ME or higher. Eligible bidders are service providers with suitable generator experience, CIDB registration 2ME+, and the capacity to supply qualified personnel and equipment for ongoing maintenance across the district.

Requirements

• CIDB Grade 2ME or higher; CIDB registration prior to evaluation; joint ventures allowed with lead partner 1ME+ and combined 2ME+.
• Returnable documents and registrations: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration prior award; SARS tax compliance (PIN) or tax clearance; evidence of CIDB CRS; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 completed; in JV, separate questionnaires.
• Insurer/Performance security: approved insurer undertaking for a performance bond or equivalent.
• OH&S: comply with the included Occupational Health and Safety specification; appoint required health and safety personnel (SACPCMP where applicable) and produce a Health & Safety Plan/File.
• Locality and specific goals: willingness to maximize Eastern Cape input; complete SBD 6.1 to claim specific goals.
• POPIA consent and general bid compliance: complete protection of personal information provisions and relevant declarations.
