TERM CONTRACT FOR SERVICING, REPAIRS AND NEW INSTALLATION FIRE EQUIPMENT IN CHRIS HANI DISTRICT FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS

Overview

Term contract for servicing, repairs and new installation of fire equipment in Chris Hani District for 12 months. Suitable for contractors with CIDB 2SF+ or higher, with SAQCC Fire registration (installers/commissioners), and a proven track record in fire detection/installation.

Requirements

• CIDB: Grade 2SF or higher (or ability to achieve prior to evaluation); CIDB registration required.
• SAQCC Fire: Registration for installers/commissioners; provide proof and a list of registered personnel.
• SANS 10139: Competent, registered personnel for fire works; provide verifiable proof.
• Tax/compliance: SARS/CSD tax compliance; provide PIN or CSD status; tax matters in order.
• Joint ventures: Allowed with lead partner CIDB 2SF+; combined designation must meet the tender’s requirement.
• Compulsory briefing: Attend the mandatory briefing session.
• Returnables: Complete and submit required documents (SBD forms, Form of Offer, priced Bills of Quantities, project team CVs, etc.).
• Vetting: Security screening and vetting prior to award.
• Additional: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration prior award; insurer/performance bond arrangements; local EC sourcing goals.
