This tender procures the delivery and management of Swop Shop services for the separation and collection of recyclables in low-income areas within the City of Cape Town. Requirements

• Compliance with the City SCM Policy and tender conditions; no abuse of the SCM system.
• Minimum functionality score of 70/100, with Annexures 13A–13D and CVs; joint ventures must apportion work per party.
• Waste management accreditation under the City of Cape Town Integrated Waste Management bylaw; accreditation valid for the contract duration.
• Staffing: at least one Operations Manager per region (Grade 12 + project/administration experience) and two Supervisors per Swop Shop trailer; include CVs (Annexures 13C–D) and driver licenses (Code EB).
• Vehicle requirements: one licensed vehicle per trailer (min 1500 kg tare, towbar); complete Annexure 13E with lease or ownership docs; roadworthy.
• Registration: Tenderers must be on the CCT Supplier Database and SARS Tax Compliance (separate PINs for JV parties).
• Regional allocation: Region A North and Region B South with potential alternates; use Schedule F14 to indicate regional preferences.
• Site visit/clarification meeting (25 Aug 2026, 10:00) via Teams; strongly recommended.
