Overview

Term Tender for the supply and delivery of canine food, horse feed and bedding for the City of Cape Town’s Safety and Security Directorate on a category-based award methodology. Bidders with experience in animal feed supply, logistics and related compliance (SCM, tax, supplier databases) should bid. Contract duration is 36 months, with separate evaluations per Category.

Requirements

• Compliance with the City of Cape Town SCM Policy; declare conflicts of interest; no abusive SCM practices.
• Eligibility documentation: complete Details of Tenderer; Certificate of Authority for Partnerships/JVs; any JV/consortium agreements; Declarations of Interest and Conflicts of Interest; Certificate of Independent Bid Determination; Tax matters in order (SARS) and tax compliance PIN; not be restricted for SCM policy violations.
• Registrations: on City Supplier Database and National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); keep records updated.
• Functionality: minimum score 60/100 per the relevant category(s); provide Schedule F13 A1/A2 (Category A) or F13 B1/B2 (Category B) plus client reference letters (3 letters recommended) to prove capability and delivery history.
• Documentation to submit: Form of Offer and Acceptance; Price Schedule (C.4); all returnable documents; evidence of experience and references; any required certificates.
• Tender fee: R200 for a hard copy (not charged for online downloads).
