Overview

The City of Cape Town seeks a supplier to supply, deliver and test new and regenerated mineral insulating oil and lubricants for generating power stations. This tender targets vendors in industrial oil/Lubricants supply and testing with capabilities in sample handling, quality testing, and compliance. Key prerequisites include SCM policy adherence, and registration and compliance with national and municipal supplier databases and tax regimes.

Requirements

• Compliance with the tender document, SCM Policy, and related returnable documents.
• Eligibility documents: Details of Tenderer, Certificate of Authority for Partnerships/JVs/Consortiums, JV/Consortium agreement where applicable, Declarations of Interest and Conflicts of Interest, Certificate of Independent Bid Determination.
• Registrations and compliance: registration on the City of Cape Town Supplier Database (and separate for each JV/Consortium member), National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), and valid SARS Tax Compliance Status.
• Samples and data: provision of acceptable product samples; delivery of technical data for new mineral insulating oil, regenerated oil, and lubricants (as specified in the tender); ability to undergo independent testing.
• Health and safety and compliance: Health and Safety Plan if requested; compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Documentation and financials: submission of Schedule F.13 information and any other requested returnable documents; cooperation with due diligence/detailed risk assessment if required.
