Overview

The City of Cape Town seeks a contractor to supply, install, repair and maintain signage at all parks, open spaces and facilities (leased and owned) within Community Service and Health for a 36-month period. Bidders should have proven capability in signage supply, installation and repair, and meet the City’s SCM, regulatory and registration requirements (e.g., SARS tax compliance, CCT Supplier Database, and National Treasury CSD) as detailed in the tender documents (278G/2025/26 FINAL TENDER DOC.pdf).

Requirements

• Compliance with Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (functionality, price, preference).
• Minimum functionality score of 60 across the evaluation criteria (supply, installation, repair of signage); provide Schedule 1–3 with project breakdowns.
• Demonstrated experience: supplying signage boards, installing and repairing signage; provide samples where required.
• Compliance documents: Declaration of Interests, Conflict of Interest, Certificate of Independent Bid Determination, and other Schedule F returnables.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; verification prior to award.
• Registrations: registration on City of Cape Town Supplier Database and National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Site clarification attendance: site visit/clarification meeting strongly recommended; not mandatory.
• Samples and cost of tendering requirements as described in the tender (278G/2025/26).

How to Apply

• Clarification/site visit: 1 July 2026 at 10:00, Goodwood Training Centre; in-person with MS Teams option; not compulsory but strongly recommended.
• Submission method: sealed envelope, tender box at Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town; include “TENDER NO. 278G/2025/26” on the envelope; if too large, request alternative instructions.
