Overview

Tender for Testing and Servicing of Live Working Lifting Equipment and Machines for a period of five years. The NTCSA invites bids for live-line testing and servicing at Apollo and Centralised Services (5-year NEC3 TSC3 arrangement). Target bidders: firms experienced in live-line equipment testing/inspection, with NEC3 contract experience, and able to meet Eskom’s supplier quality, safety, and compliance requirements (ISO 9001 QMS, OHS/SHE commitments, CIDB grade, tax and local-content criteria).

Requirements

• NEC3 Term Service Contract (TSC3) on an as-and-when-required basis; Price List option with contract data to be provided at award (including potential bonds and risk provisions).
• ISO 9001-based Supplier Quality Management System; Contract Quality Plan and Quality Plans/ITP (QCP/ITP) as part of pre- and post-contract requirements.
• Compliance with Eskom General Conditions of Purchase; adherence to Eskom’s Supplier Quality Management specification (QM 58) and related QA/QMS documentation.
• Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE)Appointments and Competencies; formal SHE plan and written appointments per Annexure B (competencies, OHS Act roles, training).
• Local content and tax compliance; SBD 1, SBD 6.2 local production declarations; VAT/tax considerations; CIDB registration (and proof) required.
• Returnables at tender closing: electronic tender pdf, price list in pdf and excel, etc. (see Annexure list) and additional documents such as Integrity Declaration, Authorisation, Tenderer particulars, CIDB details, and tax-related forms.
• Scope of Work and Safety/Legal compliance for live-line testing and servicing (Scope of Work document, OHS specs, and related risk registers).
