THALANE WATER SUPPLY PHASE 1

Overview

Procurement of construction works for Thalane Water Supply Phase 1 in Blouberg Local Municipality. This is an Open-Tender issued by Capricorn District Municipality (Contract INF-W08/2026/2027). Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 6CEPE/7CE or higher (or JV meeting CIDB criteria).
• CIDB registration prior to evaluation; each JV member registered; lead partner meets grading.
• Original and valid Tax Clearance Certificate; CIDB Contractor Registration; BBBEE verification certificate.
• NQF level 5 unit standard “Develop and Promote Labour Intensive Construction Strategies” completed by at least one staff member.
• No involvement in the State’s service list; no bid default issues; no conflicts of interest; no municipal rate arrears over 3 months.
• Comprehensive health, safety, and project management documentation as required by the bid data.

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from 14 October 2026 during office hours at Capricorn District Municipality (41 Biccard Street, Polokwane) or via the website/Etender; non-refundable deposit: R2116.00. (see THALANE PHASE 1 TENDER DOCUMENT.pdf)
• Compulsory clarification meeting: 26 October 2026, 10:00 at Blouberg Fire Station, Senwabarwana.
