Overview

The appointment of a broker related to insurance and risk services for a period of thirty-six (36) months for Ekurhuleni Housing Company (EHC). This opportunity targets established insurance brokers with public-sector risk-management capability to assess EHC risks, arrange insurance, compile a risk profile, propose suitable coverage, and provide annual reviews and ongoing advisory services.

Requirements

• Valid insurance broker registration and relevant public-sector risk-management experience.
• Completion and signing of mandatory returnable documents: MBD 2, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 15, Form of Indemnity, Pricing Schedule, and details of bidder’s management/technical teams.
• SARS Tax Clearance Certificate (original) and up-to-date tax status (TCC 0001); proof of SARS pin; proof of CIPC registration; CSD report; up-to-date municipal accounts; certified IDs of directors; proof of banking.
• BBBEE / Specific Goals compliance, including goals for Ekurhuleni demarcation; 80/20 price–preference split; evaluation includes stage-based criteria (mandatory, administrative, functionality).
• Compliance with SCM policy, anti-corruption provisions, and related contract terms.
