Overview

The Department seeks the appointment of a lead architectural entity to assemble a Multi-Disciplinary Team (Principal Agent) to design, supervise construction, and close out the KwaCele MR Traditional Authority Centre in Umdoni Municipality. The MDT must cover architectural, engineering, quantity surveying, geotechnical and related disciplines, with requirements that the lead entity be at least 51% black-owned and led by a registered architect; 3+ year post-registration experience for team members; and a formal team agreement for the full project duration. Requirements

• Lead architectural entity: 51% owned/managed by a registered professional architect; demonstrated collaboration with engineers, planners and authorities; minimum 2 projects in past 5 years; project schedule with award, description, completion, team, Spluma interfaces, referee details; signed team cooperation agreement not older than one month.
• MDT submission: Construction Registered Professional MDT organogram and CVs showing roles; minimum 3 years post-registration experience for each listed professional; minimum 8 years for the architect; include full CVs and registration numbers.
• Certifications/insurances: valid professional registrations for all team members; current professional indemnity cover per discipline (architect, QS, engineers, land surveyor, CHSA) with specified minimums (e.g., Architect R3m, QS R3m, Electrical R1m, Civil/Structural R2m, Geotechnical R1m, Land Surveyor R1m, CHSA R1m) or equivalent PI cover for all in employ (3x tendered fees as alternative).
• Compliance/BBEE: Proof of ownership, appropriate affidavits or certificates; CSD registration; tax compliance status PIN or CSD number.
