Overview

Procurement of a qualified and experienced EMS service provider to render Emergency Medical Services for the Luthuli Walk & Fun Run on 25 July 2026 in Groutville. The service covers medical support along 11.4 km Walk and 7.7 km Fun Run routes, with on-site ambulance and HPCSA-registered personnel, from 05h30 to ~15h00, plus post-event reporting. Requirements

• Evidence of SARS Tax Pin, BBBEE Affidavit/Certificate, CSD Full Registration, CIPC Registration, Directors’ certified IDs, Public Liability Insurance, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and GCC (GCC pages to be initialled).
• Ambulance on-site for full event duration; HPCSA-registered Emergency Medical Care personnel.
• Comprehensive EMS: cover the 11.4 km walk and 7.7 km run routes; rapid response placement; immediate treatment and transport as needed; post-event medical report within 5 working days.
• Compliance with all SA EMS and mass-gathering legislation; replacement cover required if withdrawing ambulance.
• Centralised supplier pre-qualification: register on the National Treasury CSD before submitting (see RFQ).
