Overview

This RFQ aims to appoint a roof specialising service provider to repair the Luthuli Museum’s Administration Building, Security Guardhouse and Nokukhanya Luthuli Resource Centre building. Bidders should be roofing/waterproofing specialists with CIDB 1GB/1SN or higher, NHBRC accreditation, and proven experience (2020–2025); must submit a detailed methodology, project plan, and safety/compliance credentials.

Requirements

• CIDB registration 1GB; 1SN or higher (or JV with combined capability)
• NHBRC registration and proof
• Central Supplier Database full registration; SARS Tax Pin; CIPC documents
• BBBEE affidavit/certificate; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1
• Company profile; CVs of key personnel; at least 3 reference letters (not older than 5 years)
• Completion certificates for similar tasks with contactable details
• Manufacturer approvals (e.g., ABE, Sika, Derbigum) proving certified applicator status
• Professional memberships (MBA, Damp Proofing/Waterproofing Assoc., etc.)
• Public liability insurance ≥ R1 Million; COIDA Certificate/Good Standing
• Methodology/Project Approach; GCC (initialled on pages)
• Health and safety/Environmental compliance; scaffolding and related safety
• Ability to provide project programme, QA/testing documentation
