THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDITORS’ SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF (5) YEARS FOR AIDC-EC.

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to provide external auditors’ services for a five-year period for AIDC-EC. Target bidders are audit firms with valid SAICA (accountant) and IRBA registrations, proven government/public-sector audit experience, and capacity to allocate dedicated resources, meet PFMA/AGSA requirements, and provide CSD and tax-clearance compliance (plus required annexures and JV documentation as applicable).

Requirements

• Valid registration with SAICA and IRBA, plus latest IRBA review.
• CSD registration and active status; provide CSD number and proof.
• Tax compliance status; separate proofs for each party in JV/consortia.
• Delegation of authority if signing is by someone other than a director.
• Annexures A, C, D, E (Supplier Information, Bidders Disclosure, Data Processing, Preferential Points), and SBD 4 & 6.1.
• Evidence of dedicated audit resources (CVs, qualifications) and firm profile; experience with government audits.
• JV/Consortium documentation if applicable (JV agreement, board resolutions, signatory authority).
• Confidentiality, ownership, and ethics commitments as per bid document.
