Overview

The DBSA seeks a service provider for Records Storage Management for the Independent Power Producer’s Office. This contract covers transport and storage of circa 1600 archival boxes, indexing, and ongoing storage with retrievals for IPPO. Bidders should be South African-based and registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and must provide Tax Compliance Status PIN and BBBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit). Foreign bidders may participate only where contract rules allow, subject to SARS/CSD requirements. A compulsory briefing will be held on 27 October 2026 via Microsoft Teams; bids must be submitted electronically. The pricing scope is defined in ANNEXURE A1:PRICING SCHEDULE (see ANNEXURE A1-PRICING SCHEDULE.pdf): it includes a one-off transport/indexing fee for 1600 boxes, 12 months of storage, indexing per box, and ad hoc retrievals (delivery charges included).
