Overview

The Department of Rural Development & Land Reform seeks a service provider to develop the Chris Hani District Municipality’s Environmental Management Framework (EMF) and an Activity Exclusion Standard over 24 months. The work targets environmental planning consultants with expertise in EMF/NEMA, stakeholder engagement, and district-scale environmental governance and planning.

Requirements

• 120-day bid validity.
• Register with the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include the reference on SBD1.
• Complete and submit the following documents: GCC, SBD1, SBD4, SBD5, SBD6.1, and the Terms of Reference.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number (separate TCS for joint ventures/consortia; originals required).
• Submit bids in a sealed envelope with bidder name, bid number, and closing date (600 Lilian Ngoyi Street, Pretoria).
• Note: NIP (National Industrial Participation) obligations may apply for contracts with imported content; post-award reporting and arrangements with the DTI may be required (see SBD5).
