Overview

The appointment of a service provider for the maintenance of transformers for SABC Auckland Park offices for a period of three (3) years. Suitable bidders are electrical/transformer maintenance specialists with medium/high voltage experience, active CIDB 5EP (or higher) and SACPCMP registration, plus compliance in tax, BBBEE, TV licenses and health/safety. The contract runs 3 years; prices may be fixed year one with CPI adjustments; payment terms are 60 days from invoice.

Requirements

• Active CIDB grading of 5EP or higher (proof required).
• SACPCMP-registered Health and Safety Officer (proof required).
• SARS PIN and tax/compliance documents (PIN validation, tax clearance).
• BBBEE documentation (SANAS-verification certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs; affidavit for turnover/ownership as applicable).
• Proof of TV license (company, directors, and shareholders).
• Certified company registration, share certificates, and IDs of directors.
• Last 3 years of audited/reviewed financial statements or management accounts.
• COID and UIF good standing certificates.
• Compliance with SABC bidding conditions, including confidentiality, SBDs (6.1, 8, 9), and declaration forms.
• Health & Safety and safety file per OHS Act prior to commencement.
• Minimum technical references: five transformer maintenance references (11kV–400V) with letters on client letterhead.
• Detailed Schedule of Quantities and firm pricing (price must be quoted in ZAR incl. VAT; CPI adjustments apply after year 1).
