Overview

The CSOS invites bids for the provision of a managed SD-WAN connectivity with hosted telephony (including a contact centre) and WAN solution for a period of three years. Bidders should have SD-WAN, hosted VOIP/telephony, contact-centre capabilities, SA-based NOC capabilities, and data-protection/compliance to operate in South Africa. Reference: CSOS004-2026 (the attached RFP).

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliant (provide SARS PIN/CSD number).
• ICASA certification or ISPA membership for the bidder or subcontractor.
• Bidder must be an OEM/OSM partner for the proposed solution (subcontracting requires a subcontracting agreement).
• Bidder must have a South Africa–based Network Operations Center (NOC) with 24/7 call logging; provide a signed confirmation letter.
• On-site support presence across SA locations; submit office addresses and contacts.
• Data must reside in SA or in a country with adequate privacy laws; cloud hosting and DR-site requirements (DR within 30 km, half-rack hosting, etc.).
• Licensing: all licenses/subscriptions must be CSOS-owned; provide licensing costings for full contract duration.
• Security and governance: ISO27001 alignment where applicable; MFA, logging, monitoring, audit capabilities, and CSOS SOC/SIEM integration.
• Exit/transition planning and detailed project management, maintenance, and support SLA provisions.

• Submission method: official bid forms only; deposit in bid box or delivered as prescribed.
• Documents to submit: SBD1 (Parts A/B) plus related SBDs (1, 3.3, 4, 6.1), Annexure A (SD-WAN functionality) and Annexure B (Telephony functionality), OEM verification letter, subcontracting agreement (if any), NOC letter, service-centre details, CSD summary or number, SARS tax PIN, and proof of B-BBEE where applicable.
