Overview

The SARS RFP 03/2026 seeks a service provider to supply Tower S server support for three years, with an option to extend for two years. The scope includes hardware break-fix, install/move/add/change, project management, consulting, consumables supply/install, and related service/account management for SARS’s server environment. Bidders must be a Dell Gold or higher partner with OEM approvals, and must have a Main Service Centre in South Africa with a Remote/Footprint in all provinces.

Requirements

• Dell Gold or higher Partner certification with Manufacturer Authorisation Form (MAF) from Dell South Africa.
• Subcontracting limited to 40% of revenue (or provide a signed declaration if none).
• Bidder to accept end-to-end accountability for Tower S delivery (Bidder Accountability Declaration).
• Acceptance of prescribed SLAs for in-warranty devices; out-of-warranty work on time-and-material basis.
• Main Service Centre in SA and Remote/Footprint in each province; supporting documentation not older than 90 days.
• Attendance at compulsory briefing session (provide attendance certificate).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; include CSD Master Registration Number.
• Completion of mandatory SBDs (SBD 1, SBD 4) and SBD 6.1; submission of a Draft Agreement response; three years of audited or independently reviewed financial statements.
• Submission in two formats (hardcopy and electronic) and in English; separate folders for technical and pricing content.
