Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of 105 special 10-year commemorative medals for the Chief Albert Luthuli Walk and Fun Run 2026. Target bidders are medal producers/manufacturers with capabilities in branding, tooling, die-cast metals, packaging and logistics. The award will require registration with the National Treasury CSD, a SARS tax pin, BBBEE documentation, CIDP/CIPC filings, and completion of standard bid forms.

• 105 medals with front/back design specifications, packaging, and delivery included in price.
• Medal specs: 70 mm diameter, 6 mm thick, ~120 g, die-cast zinc alloy; antique bronze with gold highlights; 25 mm branded ribbon.
• Front: Luthuli Walk & Fun Run branding, 10th anniversary, portrait relief, running figures, commemorative banner, wreath.
• Back: portrait medallion, slogan and regional elements.
• Quality: no defects; packaging in sleeves; reinforced cartons.
• Documentation: Central Supplier Database full registration; Pricing Schedule; SARS Tax Pin; BBBEE affidavit/certificate; CIPC documents; directors’ certified IDs; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; GCC (initial pages).
