Overview

Provision of transport services for the Beaufort West Campus of South Cape TVET College, to transport 60 passengers on 7 August 2026 from Beaufort West via Aberdeen to Mossel Bay and back. Bidders should be qualified transport operators with roadworthy vehicles, licensed drivers with PDP where applicable, and the ability to meet regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements (e.g., vehicle registrations, roadworthy certificates, operating licenses, tax clearance, BBBEE).

Requirements

• Safe, reliable transport for 60 passengers; route Beaufort West → Aberdeen → Mossel Bay → Beaufort West; return trip on 7 Aug 2026.
• Vehicles: licensed, roadworthy, clean, with functioning seat belts, adequate passenger insurance, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, required operating permits.
• Drivers: valid licenses with PDP where applicable; long-distance passenger transport experience; professional conduct; compliance with road safety rules.
• Documentation (mandatory): vehicle registrations and roadworthy certificates, valid operating licenses (where applicable), valid driver licenses and PDP, at least one contactable reference for similar service (past 3 years).
• Prequalification: tax compliance (PIN/CSD where applicable), BBBEE documentation, latest municipal account or lease, CSD number, and original tax clearance.
• Compliance: alignment with GCC/SCC, and all applicable road transport regulations; submission of required SBD forms and price schedule (RFQ BB 44/2026.pdf).
• Additional: consortium rules apply; suppliers may be disqualified for non-compliance.
