THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER WITH A SAFELINE-EX TO PROVIDE AN INDEPENDENT CONFIDENTIAL ETHICS HOTLINE SERVICES & RELATED SERVICES FOR ERWAT FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY SIX (36) MONTH

Overview

ERWAT seeks to appoint a Safeline-EX service provider to deliver an independent confidential ethics hotline and related services for 36 months. Ideal bidders are external whistleblowing hotline providers with Safeline-EX accreditation, capable of 24/7 multi-channel reporting, case management, reporting to ERWAT, translations, and ethics awareness campaigns.

Requirements

• Accreditation: The Ethics Institute Safeline-EX External Whistleblowing Hotline Service Providers certificate.
• Tax/registration: SARS PIN or TCS; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; separate TCS/PIN for JV/consortia where applicable.
• CIDB: No CIDB grading required.
• Mandatory briefing: Attend compulsory briefing (28 Oct 2026 10:30, virtual); register via ERWAT site.

• Submission deadline: 19 November 2026 at 12:00; late bids not accepted.
• Submission method: Hardcopy to ERWAT tender box; electronic copy (PDF) via TenderE-Submission@erwat.co.za (include reference and bidder name).
• Required documents: Official ERWAT bid forms, pricing schedule, resolutions/authorisations, accreditation certificate, tax status evidence, JV agreements if applicable.
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SARS tax status (PIN/TCS); foreign suppliers may need pre-award questionnaire.
• Briefing details: Compulsory briefing 28 Oct 2026 10:30 via Microsoft Teams; attendance recorded; provide attendees’ details.
