Overview

The RFQ seeks a service provider in the iLembe District Municipality for the supply and delivery of giveaway materials for the Chief Albert Luthuli Walk and Fun Run 2026. The scope covers branded promotional items (T-shirts, caps, drawstring bags, race numbers, and paper wristbands), with 1500 units of each item, to be mass-produced after sample approval. Submissions are via email to scmofficer@luthulimuseum.org.za; hand deliveries are not accepted.

Requirements

• Mandatory pre-qualification: SARS Tax Pin; BBBEE affidavit/certificate; CSD full registration; CIPC documents; directors’ certified IDs; proof of business address in the iLembe District; SBD forms; GCC.
• Sample and artwork: provide samples for production preview and obtain museum approval before mass production (Artwork attached; see LM 2026/0036).
• Delivery: to 3233 Nokukhanya Luthuli Street, Groutville, KwaDukuza, 4450; delivery period to be confirmed; price should reflect delivery terms.
• Qualification for evaluation: valid CSD report, tax pin, and documentation to claim specific goals (see below) with proof.
• Pricing: submit on a separate company letterheaded price schedule; bid validity = 90 days (see Pricing Schedule).
• Evaluation: 80/20 or 90/10 preference points system; specific goals for HDP Race ownership (10), Women (4), Youth (4), Disability (2) (points to be claimed with proofs).
