Overview

The RFQ seeks a service provider to supply and deliver hired equipment for the Chief Albert Luthuli Walk and Fun Run 2026 in the Ilembe District, including a 5m x 5m outdoor stage, a sound system with a DJ/operator, a large jumping castle with slide, and a face painter. Suitable bidders are event production firms with stage/sound rigging, safety certifications, and children’s entertainment capabilities, plus compliance with SBD/GCC and preferential procurement rules.

Requirements

• SARS Tax Pin, BBBEE affidavit/certificate, CSD full registration, CIPC registration, directors’ certified IDs, proof of business address in the Ilembe District, public liability insurance, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, GCC (initials on all pages).
• Stage: safety certificate for the stage structure; OH&S measures.
• Delivery/setup windows: Stage on 24 July 2026 (by 13:00) at Groutville Market Grounds; Sound system and technician on 25 July 2026 (06:00–16:00); Jumping Castle 25 July 2026 (07:00–14:00); Face painter 25 July 2026 (07:00–14:00).
