Overview

The Luthuli Museum seeks to appoint a service provider within the iLembe District Municipality to supply and deliver hired equipment – tents, trestle tables and plastic chairs – for the Chief Albert Luthuli Walk and Fun Run 2026. Briefing session: none. Suitable bidders are event-hire suppliers with tenting and on-site logistics capabilities; must comply with CSD, SARS Tax Pin, BBBEE, and PFMA-related requirements. Requirements

• Mandatory criteria (Stage 1): SARS Tax Pin; BBBEE affidavit/certificate; Recent CSD Full Registration Report; CIPC registration; Directors’ certified IDs; Proof of business address in the iLembe District; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; GCC.
• Detailed specification: 1 × 100-Seater Framed Tent; 1 × 100-Seater Pole Tent; 2 × 50-Seater Pole Tent; 24 × Trestle Tables; 70 × Black Plastic Chairs.
• Delivery/assembly: Tents constructed at Groutville Market Grounds on 24 July 2026 by 13:00 (closed for safety); breakdown by 17:00 on 25 July 2026; Trestle tables and chairs delivered to Groutville Market Grounds on 24 July by 13:00.
• Evaluation: 80/20 or 90/10 price-preference depending on value; Specific Goals up to 20 points (Race 10, Women 4, Youth 4, Disability 2); proof documents required for goals (certified IDs, CIPC docs, etc.).
