THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICES PROVIDER TO DEVELOP THE SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK (SDF) OF LEPELLE-NKUMPI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY WITHIN A PERIOD OF EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS

Overview

Appointment of a service provider to develop Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality's Spatial Development Framework (SDF) over 18 months. The Department of Rural Development & Land Reform seeks professional services in spatial planning, urban/regional planning, GIS/data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to deliver an SDF within 18 months.

Requirements

• Complete and return the attached bid documentation (GCC, SBDs, Authority to sign, terms of reference, etc.). (see 5-2-2-1-2026-2027-3LP.pdf)
• Register with the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include the CSD reference numbers on SBD1.
• If sole agent/supplier, disclose market price discount or net profit percentage for fairness (as required in the bid pack).
• Provide proof of authorization to sign tender documents (board resolutions, etc.) for companies/partners; non-submission renders the bid non-responsive (LA.1.6).
• Submit bid documents in a sealed envelope with bidder name, bidder address, bid number, and closing date.

• Documents to complete/submit: GCC, SBD forms (SBD1, SBD2, SBD3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1), Authority to Sign, Credit Instruction forms, terms of reference, and related annexures (see attached file).
