Overview

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment seeks to appoint an independent service provider to conduct an assessment of Government undertakings and commitments under the Forest Sector Code for three months. Suitable bidders are firms or consortia with expertise in BBBEE, forest sector transformation, governance reporting, and independent assessment; deliverables include a completeness ratio framework, a consolidated report, and a presentation to FSCC.

Requirements

• Proven experience in assessing government undertakings under the Amended Forest Sector Code and BBBEE-related work;
• Ability to develop a completeness ratio framework in consultation with the Forest Sector Charter Council (FSCC);
• Deliverables including inception report, interim progress report, final comprehensive report, and presentation;
• Compliance: CSD registration or SARS Tax PIN, Tax Compliance Status; B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit; JV/consortium ownership requirements if applicable;
• Documentation: complete SBD1, SBD3.3 (pricing), SBD4, SBD6.1, Annexure A (Pricing Schedule), CVs (Annexure B), Consent and Indemnity (Annexure C).
• Mandatory briefing attendance and adherence to GCC/SCC where applicable.
