THE APPOINTMENT OF AN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSULTANT FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS

Overview

The NCR seeks to appoint an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) consultant for a five-year period. Bidders should be qualified OHS professionals with relevant SA-based expertise in risk assessment, compliance with the OHS Act, audits, training and ongoing advisory support, and must meet PPPFA/BBBEE requirements to deliver under a service-level framework.

Requirements

• Demonstrated OHS expertise with ability to deliver ongoing advisory services for five years.
• Relevant qualifications and SA registrations in the OHS field.
• Compliance with PPPFA/BBBEE: provide BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs and support for preference claims.
• Compliance with procurement documents and registrations: tax clearance, VAT details, CSD registration, and completed bid documents (pricing schedules and disclosure forms).
• SLA/Contract compliance: adhere to the service level agreement, penalties for delays, exit plan, and IP/confidentiality terms as outlined in attached contract/SLA documents.
