Overview

Procurement of one security service provider to render physical guarding and access-control services at Brits Office – North-West (110 Hamilton Street) and Environment House, Arcadia, Pretoria, Gauteng for 36 months. Bidders should be security service providers with PSIRA-grade credentials (Grade C), and must meet PSIRA, COIDA, UIF, Labour Relations Act, and related regulatory requirements; familiarity with MPSS and Access Control statutes is advantageous.

Requirements

• Provide Grade C security officers for access control and patrols at all listed sites, with the specified shifts and coverage.
• Compliance with PSIRA registration for the company and for all security personnel; COIDA and UIF compliance; Labour Relations Act adherence.
• Proof of office address (Pretoria or Brits); Public Liability Insurance minimum R1,000,000; rates aligned to latest PSIRA minimum rates.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration; submit CSD/Tax evidence; B-BBEE status verification (SANAS/CIPC/sworn affidavit).
• Documentation and pre-qualification: SBD1, SBD3.3 (pricing), SBD4 (disclosure), SBD6.1 (preference form); Annexure A (Pricing Schedule); Annexure B (Project Leader CV); Annexure C (Consent and Indemnity).
• Demonstrate project team qualifications via CVs and project plan; provide references for prior security-operations that align with terms of reference.
• Mandatory briefing attendance; functionality phase requires minimum 75% scoring.
