Overview

The Department seeks to appoint service providers to render physical security services at plantations and nurseries across multiple provinces for 36 months. Eligible bidders are security service providers with PSIRA registration, COIDA compliance, CSD/tax status, and proven guarding experience; bidders must also meet B-BBEE and equipment requirements.

Requirements

• Valid PSIRA registration for the company and good standing; all directors must hold PSIRA certificates.
• Tax compliance status (SARS PIN/CSD registration) and COIDA good standing; proof to be submitted.
• Proof of office in each bidding province (municipal rates/taxes in company or director name, or lease); if none, stamped letter from traditional authorities.
• Rates aligned to the latest PSIRA minimum rates (Urban/Rural/Metropolitan).
• Valid firearm licences for business use in the bidding provinces.
• Public liability insurance (minimum R1,000,000).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration or SARS PIN; include SBD forms (1, 3.3, 4, 6.1) and annexures; joint ventures must submit JV agreements.
• Compliance with information-security/privacy, and branding/trackers on patrol vehicles as specified.
• Mandatory briefing attendance; evidence required.
