THE APPOINTMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER TO DEVELOP BIODIVERSITY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR MORGENZON FOREST RESERVE LOCATED IN MPUMALANGA PROVINCE, AS PER NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT: PROTECTED AREAS ACT (NEMPAA) FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (06) MONTHS

Overview

The appointment of a professional service provider to develop a Biodiversity Management Plan for Morgenzon Forest Reserve, Mpumalanga, for six months. Bidder should be environmental consultants with biodiversity planning, literature review, stakeholder engagement and BMP development experience, and familiarity with NEMPAA and protected-area governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in biodiversity management planning and BMP development for protected areas under NEMPAA.
• Ability to conduct literature reviews, situational analyses and stakeholder engagements (approx. 4) and deliver a comprehensive BMP with mitigation and decision-making framework.
• A project team led by a qualified Project Team Leader with CVs (Annexure B) and relevant expertise.
• Compliance: tax, SARS PIN, CSD registration; VAT; B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit; SBD1, SBD3.3 (Pricing), SBD4, SBD6.1; JV arrangements if applicable.
• Willingness to sign the contract (SBD7) and adhere to GCC/PPF Act requirements.
