Overview

The Department of Water and Sanitation invites bids for bi-annual biomonitoring and surface water quality monitoring downstream and upstream of the Tsitsa River for the Ntabelanga Dam, over a 2-year period. Bidders with environmental monitoring capability, SACNASP-registered scientists, SASS5-qualified practitioners, and field/lab monitoring capacity should consider bidding; must meet tax, supplier database, and B-BBEE prerequisites and be able to operate in the Eastern Cape (WTE1066CE.pdf).

Requirements

• Attendance at compulsory site briefing; complete and sign the required bid forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4); Pr.Sci.Nat (SACNASP); SASS5 accredited practitioner; Natural Science degree/B.Tech (minimum) (NQF7).
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN/TCS requirements; e-filing or printed TCS; separate TCS for consortia; if no TCS, provide CSD number; CSD registration if applicable.
• Registrations: Central Supplier Database (CSD) or VAT/tax status; active registration with Companies Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
• B-BBEE: provide B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit; Annexure 1 (Percentage Ownership) and Annexure 2 (Location of Enterprise) with supporting proof.
