Overview

Procurement of civil works for THE CONSTRUCTION OF CHIEF ROAD IN WARD 4 by Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, CIDB 6CE or higher. Bidders should have CIDB 6CE+, demonstrated road/bridge experience, and be prepared for a formal price and quality evaluation with local preference considerations.

Requirements

• CIDB classification: 6CE or higher.
• Compulsory clarification/site briefing: 12 August 2026 at 10:00, No1 Protea Road Marburg (processed to Oshabeni).
• CIDB, tax and pre-qualification: CIDB registration; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; CSD registration; JV requirements if applicable.
• Returnable documents: CIDB certificate, Tax PIN, company registration, proof of ownership for preference points, JV agreements if any, and pricing/contract documents as specified (RNM/MBD 3.1, etc.).
• Evaluation: Functionality min 60/70 points (director qualifications, relevant road/bridge experience, foreman experience); price and preferences to determine final award under the 80/20 (up to R50m) or 90/10 (above R50m) framework.

How to Apply

• Attend the compulsory clarification meeting: 12 August 2026 at 10:00 (No1 Protea Road Marburg; then site), and submit evidence of attendance. (see filename)
• Submit one original plus one copy in a sealed envelope marked with the Bid Number 8/2/RNM0651 to the Bid Box at 10 Connor Street, Port Shepstone, by 12:00 on 24 August 2026.
• Include required certificates: CIDB registration, Tax PIN, CSD number, company docs; JV documents if applicable; MBD forms and Pricing Schedule RNM/MBD3.1; and any other returnable schedules. (see Tender Contents listing in the attached document)
