THE CUSTOMISATION CONFIGURATION, IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT OF THREE ADDITIONAL MODULES WITHIN MER’S EXISTING PLUMSOFT ERP SYSTEM

Overview

Procurement of customization, configuration, implementation and ongoing support of three Plumsoft ERP modules (Supply Chain Management including Contract Management; Fixed Asset Management; Human Resource Management including Payroll), to be implemented within MER’s existing Plumsoft system by a Plumsoft-accredited partner.

Bidders must be Plumsoft-accredited partners with proven experience in configuring, implementing and supporting the SCM, Fixed Asset and HR modules, including data migration, CSD integration, training, UAT and post-implementation support. Hosting, infrastructure and core Plumsoft licensing are provided by MER; no additional Plumsoft licences are required. Compulsory briefing: 19 Oct 2026; Closing: 6 Nov 2026. Requirements

• Plumsoft accreditation with demonstrable experience configuring SCM, Fixed Asset Management and HR Management modules; provide documentary proof.
• Implement within MER’s Plumsoft environment; avoid duplicate data, parallel systems; preserve integrity and security.
• Include data migration, validation and reconciliation of supplier, contract, asset and HR data prior to go-live.
• Configure workflows, approval hierarchies, and integrations (including with CSD and MER’s finance/budgeting).
• Enable automation/digitisation of requisitions, RFQs, tendering, supplier management, PO/invoice, asset lifecycle, and HR processes.
• Provide training, user acceptance testing, technical documentation and post-implementation support/maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations, PPPFA/PPP, BBBEE, POPIA, ECTA, GRAP, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Confirm no need for extra Plumsoft licences; hosting/infrastructure/licensing are covered by MER.
• Provide options if any requirement cannot be met natively within Plumsoft, with rationale and alternatives (mandatory in tender response).
