Overview

The establishment of a pre-approved list of service providers to provide events management services for the Department of Human Settlements over 36 months. Suitable bidders are event management firms or marketing/PR agencies with events capability, including experience in concept development, planning, and on-site coordination; compliance with SA tax, supplier databases, and B-BBEE requirements is required.

Requirements

• Complete official forms: SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1.
• Tax and registrations: SARS Tax Compliance PIN or tax clearance; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; CIPC registration.
• Certification docs: valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE allowed); IDs for directors; consolidated B-BBEE for JV/consortia.
• Documentation for consortiums: joint venture/consortium agreement; separate TCS/PIN/CSD for each party.
• Key resources: evidence for the Events Manager (NQF 6+ in Events/Marketing/PR; 5+ years’ experience; verifiable CV; SAQA verification for foreign qualifications).
• Integrity Pact fully signed; all information complete; ability to pass security screening if required.
• Other: proof of ability to provide required bid documents and compliance with PFMA/PPPFA.
