Overview

Procurement of fabrication and installation of the display infrastructure for the Nelson Mandela Prison House Exhibition. Iziko Museums of South Africa seeks a service provider with exhibition fabrication and installation capability to deliver indoor and outdoor display infrastructure, including base units, corten steel panels, Mandela silhouette, and display cases, to be completed within 10 weeks of appointment with installation in Week 11. Intellectual property for designs remains with Iziko.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database registration (supplier number) and Tax Status Verification PIN; valid tax status.
• Detailed pricing structure on company letterhead (VAT inclusive, disbursements, escalations).
• Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Signed Request for Quotation; Company Profile including a Detailed Graphic Designer Profile.
• Evidence of capability: minimum 5 years fabrication experience; portfolio of 5 completed relevant projects; 3 verifiable references from prior clients (museums/exhibitions advantageous); Senior Project Lead CV; Visual Portfolio.
• Ability to fabricate and install all indoor/outdoor display infrastructure within 10 weeks; Week 11 installation.
• Evaluation requires a minimum of 70 functionality points to progress; preference points apply (80/20 system).
