The issuing of energy performance certificates (epcs) for municipal buildings.

Overview

The City of Cape Town seeks bids to issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for municipal buildings. This open tender covers a 60-month contract; it's aimed at service providers with EPC issuance expertise, including SANEDI-registered EPC professionals and related EPC experience.

• Target bidders: EPC service providers with SANEDI-registered professionals, SANS 1544 EPC capability, and SCM-compliant governance.

Requirements

• SANEDI-registered EPC Professional(s) nominated by the tenderer; provide valid SANEDI evidence (name and registration details).
• Compliance with City of Cape Town SCM Policy; include required declarations and governance qualifications (Conflict of Interest, Declarations, Independent Bid Determination, etc.).
• Tax compliance: SARS matters in order; not restricted under SCM Policy.
• CCT Supplier Database registration and National Treasury CSD registration.
• Functionality threshold: minimum score 24/40 (40 total for criteria: 01 Professional Experience of key personnel, 02 Number of EPCs issued). Schedule F.13(a) and F.13(b) apply.
