Overview

Procurement of the replacement and associated works for the Kriel Power Station 11 kV Overhead Line over 18 months. Applicants should have capabilities in engineering, design, manufacturing, transportation, site installation, commissioning, and civil/environmental works for HV lines, plus strong quality and safety systems (QA/QC, SHEQ) and familiarity with Eskom and relevant standards (OHSA, SANS, ISO 9001). The scope also covers project management and data/records control.

Requirements

• Experience delivering complete OHL replacements (design, manufacture, procurement, installation, commissioning) including civil and environmental works.
• Proven quality management capability; ability to produce QCP/ITP and a Contract Quality Plan (CQP Template) (240-109253302, 240-109253698).
• Design documentation must align with standards and Eskom SHEQ policies; ECSA-accredited design engineer as required (1.3.11).
• Knowledge of and compliance with listed standards and references (OHSA, SANS, NRS/ISOs) as per the Works Information (Scope of Work).
• Administrative readiness to operate within Eskom eTendering, including access requirements (CSD-based access for eTendering) (E-Tendering User Guide).
