Overview

The maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles for King Shaka International Airport, Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport and King Phalo Airport for a 6-month period. This RFQ seeks experienced vehicle maintenance providers capable of heavy- and light-vehicle repairs under an NEC3 Term Service Contract framework. Bidders should hold qualified diesel or motor mechanics, demonstrate relevant vehicle maintenance experience, and meet statutory requirements (COIDA/FEMA good standing, SARS tax compliance or CSD enrollment) with verifiable references.

Requirements

• NEC3 Term Service Contract experience and a 6-month service period.
• Key personnel: Diesel Mechanic with trade test plus NQF Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Diesel Engineering; Motor Mechanic with trade test plus NQF Level 3 or Motor Mechanic certificate; both with 3+ years of heavy- or light-vehicle maintenance experience.
• Company/entity experience: 2+ reference letters or completion certificates for heavy- or light-vehicle repairs.
• Compliance: COIDA/FEMA good standing; Tax compliance status (TCS PIN) or CSD number; priced bid; mandatory returnable documents; insurance as specified in contract.
• Returnable documents: as listed in the RFQ; non-submission may disqualify bidders.
