Overview

The maintenance, outage repair services; the supply, transportation, erection and dismantling of scaffolding and insulation material for boiler pressure parts and high pressure pipework across 14 fossil-fired power stations for five years. Bidder should be CIDB-registered for heavy construction/scaffolding and insulation works, capable of electronic bid submission via Eskom e-tendering, and compliant with Eskom OHS requirements and the Supplier Evaluation Pack to operate on Eskom projects (Annexures A–F; SBD 6.2 as applicable).

Requirements

• CIDB registration with the appropriate grade for heavy construction/scaffolding and insulation works.
• Ability to submit bids electronically via Eskom’s e-tendering platform.
• Compliance with Eskom OHS requirements and the Supplier Evaluation Pack (Annexure B/C1 criteria; COIDA/Good Standing, etc).
• Completion and submission of Annexures A–F and relevant SBD/local-content declarations as attached to the ITT (e.g., Annexure A, B, C, D, E, F; SBD 6.2).
• Attendance at the mandatory clarification/briefing sessions and readiness to work on Eskom projects (ITTs specify dates and format).

How to Apply

• Attend the Clarification meeting on 22 October 2026 at 10:00 (Microsoft Teams link provided in ITT).
• Prepare and assemble: CIDB registration evidence, OHS documentation (Annex B/C1), PAYE/tax compliance (Annexure K), COIDA or equivalent good standing, OHS policy, and the required Annexures A–F.
• Submit electronically via the Eskom E-tendering site before the closing date/time: 11 November 2026 at 10:00 (per ITT). For pricing, use the Schedule of Rates (Finance.zip: Annexure Q) and the cluster 1 rate schedule.
