Overview

MKRI invites bids for the supply and installation of networking and security equipment at Nongoma Digital Centre. Suitable bidders are service providers with networking, CCTV and related security-system installation capabilities, who can complete all SBD compliance, BBBEE, and tax-related requirements and participate in the PPPFA 80/20 preference points system (80 for price, 20 for specific goals).

Requirements

• Complete and sign compulsory SBD forms and returnable documents (SBD1, Declaration on CSD, SBD4, Authority to Sign, SBD3.1 pricing, SBD6.1, etc.); non-compliance = non-responsive (see attached).
• Stage 2: three signed reference letters on client letterhead for similar networking services within the last five years.
• Stage 3: 80/20 Preference Points (Price 80, Specific Goals 20) with proof for specific goals:
  • ≥51% Black Ownership; BBBEE certificate or affidavit
  • ≥51% Women Ownership; copies of IDs
  • ≥51% Youth Ownership; CIPC certificate
  • ≥30% People with disability Ownership; medical certificate
  • Location within KwaZulu-Natal; proof of address
• Tax and registrar compliance: SARS PIN/TCS, CSD number, BBBEE documentation, proof of address; sign declarations.
• Delivery/installation: within 7 days of PO; 120-day bid validity; 10% retention post-installation; terms per GCC.
• Location proof: within KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
