Overview

The National Library of South Africa (NLSA) seeks a supplier to supply trophies, medals, and certificates for the Funda Mzantsi Championship 2026. The RFQ invites bidders with trophy fabrication, engraving, medal production, and certificate printing capabilities to bid.

Requirements

• Fully completed SBD4 and SBD6.1 forms. (see SBD4.pdf; SBD 6.1 IN TERMS OF PPR2022.1 Black owned.pdf)
• Bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and attach the latest report.
• Provide samples: trophy sample delivered to NLSA Pretoria campus within 5 days of bid closing; samples to be approved before production.
• Delivery within 30 days after Purchase Order.
• Quotations valid for 60 days (may be extended).
• No upfront payments; quotations must meet contractual and evaluation criteria.
• Evaluation includes: Stage 2 requires at least 60/100; 30 points for bidder references, 20 for graphic designer experience, 50 for trophy sample quality; plus other compliance factors (as per TOR).
• NLSA may amend RFQ terms, and may award to one or more bidders; not necessarily the lowest price.
• Specific goals and black ownership points apply under the Preferential Procurement Regulations (as outlined in the SBD6.1 forms).
