Overview

The National Library of South Africa seeks a service provider to renew the Server-Room Environmental Monitoring Solution license for 12 months (two campuses: Pretoria and Cape Town). The scope includes license renewal, ongoing monitoring, remote support, system health checks, and staff training. Bidders should have proven experience in server-room environmental monitoring, license management, cross-site delivery, and possess an OEM authorization letter confirming they are an authorized reseller/partner. Firms must be registered on CSD and submit standard bid documents with pricing.

Requirements

• Valid OEM authorization letter confirming authorized reseller/partner (mandatory).
• Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Completed SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms.
• Ability to supply license renewal and ongoing support for the server-room environmental monitoring solution across both campuses.
• Remote support capability, sensor issue troubleshooting, and reporting support.
• Bi-annual system health checks for sensors, connectivity, and alert functionality.
• Training/knowledge transfer to NLSA staff.
• Cross-campus coverage (Pretoria and Cape Town) included in the scope.
