Overview

The National Library of South Africa seeks to appoint a service provider to deliver Health and Safety Representative Training at the Pretoria campus (two participants). The engagement covers both theoretical and practical training, provision of participant manuals, and issue of valid certificates. The contract scope requires completion within 21 days after issuing the Purchase Order, with training to be conducted on the provider’s premises in the Pretoria region according to their schedule.

Requirements

• Training scope: Health and Safety Representative training for two participants (2.1).
• Delivery location and format: on the provider’s premises within the Pretoria region, with both theoretical and practical components (2.2–2.5).
• Deliverables: training manuals for each participant and valid certificates with a stated validity period (2.4–2.5).
• project duration: completion within 21 days after PO (4.1).
• Mandatory pre-qualifications: fully completed SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; registration on National Treasury CSD; SAQA registration with a unit standard and accreditation with a relevant SETA (e.g., HWSETA) (6.1–6.2).
