NRF-SAASTA seeks to appoint a CIDB grade 1SL (or higher) service provider to remove, supply, deliver and install steel trellis reinforcements and steel burglar gate reinforcements to improve security at St Johns College Technology and Innovation Hub. Suitable bidders are specialists in building/steelwork with CIDB 1SL or higher, plus relevant welding credentials and security-related installation experience; bid must include tax clearance or CSD registration, BBBEE documentation, and a minimum reference.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: grade 1SL or higher.
• One written reference from a client in the last 60 months meeting “Meets requirements.”
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (Welder).
• Complete and sign all Standard Bidding Documents (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and annexures.
• Tax compliance: valid Tax Clearance Certificate or CSD number; banking details aligned with CSD.
• BBBEE: original SANAS BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim specific goals.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• Compulsory site briefing/inspection: 21 October 2026, 11:00, at St John’s College (compulsory).
• Scope includes reinforcement of two doors and installation of various steel trellis/win­dows as specified, with bronze enamel finish on burglar bars.
