Overview

The National Library of South Africa seeks a service provider to deliver a once-off catering service (arrival tea and lunch) for a one-day programme at Polokwane Public Library, Limpopo. The RFQ covers catering for 80 attendees on 29 September 2026, including menu, service staff and on-site service equipment. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and able to submit SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms, with compliance to the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. Requirements

• Fully completed SBD 4 Annexure A and SBD 6.1 forms (SBD 6.1 IN TERMS OF PPR2022 1.pdf).
• Must be registered on the CSD and provide the latest CSD report.
• Must comply with PPR 2022 and the applicable points system (80/20 or 90/10), and claim points for specific goals (e.g., locality).
• Deliver the menu for 80 guests (breakfast and lunch) on 29 Sept 2026, with staff in clean attire and all required disposables and serviceware.
• Quotations must be valid for 60 days; NLSA reserves rights to amend terms and to appoint one or more bidders.
• Evaluation includes pre-qualification (SBD forms, CSD) and pricing with locality points.
