Overview

Procurement of renovation works for 1 ECDE classroom at Dr. Eseli, Lukhokhwe, Mufupi and Namboko Primary Schools in Milima Ward; open to qualified Kenyan contractors (open national competitive tender). Suitable bidders are construction firms with at least NCA building works grade 8+, valid tax and business registrations, and relevant local permits. Electronic submission is allowed.

Requirements

• Certified copy of company incorporation/registration; CR12 for limited companies (within 12 months)
• Certified copies of IDs/passports for Directors
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA)
• Certified KRA PIN certificate
• Valid Single Business Permit from any County Government
• National Construction Authority (NCA) for building works: minimum NCA 8; renewals current
• Renewed annual practicing license with NCA
• Form of Tender (signed and stamped)
• Self-Declaration SD1 (Non-debarring) and SD2 (Anti-corruption)
• Bid Security of KSh 38,800 from a reputable bank or PPRA-approved insurer
• All pages stamped, serialized, and paged
• Manual submissions not accepted; must submit via IFMIS portal

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 06 November 2026 at 09:00; submission method: electronic via IFMIS/Supplier Portal (IMIS)
• Where to obtain bid documents: download from Bungoma County website and/or tenders portal using the negotiation number (see INVITATION TO TENDER documents)
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Tender Security, joint venture documents if applicable, Authorization, Qualifications, Technical proposal per ITT 16, SD1/SD2, and any other forms listed in Section IV
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: provide evidence per ITT 17 (ownership/control, tax, NCA registration, etc.), including tax compliance, NCA license, and potential JV agreements
• Site/briefing: site visit and pre-tender meeting details will be in the Tender Data Sheet (may be optional)
• Clarifications: in writing to the Procuring Entity by the deadline in the TDS; responses to all bidders will be shared
