Overview

Provision of a divisional fixed asset manager resource for Transnet Finance HQ (operating as Transnet Port Terminals) for a period of one year. Bidders should have professional experience in fixed asset management within large finance environments, with relevant finance/accounting qualifications; this is a professional services engagement focused on asset management and financial controls.

Requirements

• Services must conform to the Order; no variation to quantities or specifications without written Transnet consent; time is of the essence.
• IP liability: provider must indemnify Transnet against third-party IP infringement and procure/replace non-infringing solutions as needed.
• Confidentiality and POPIA compliance: protect information, process only for stated purposes, and return/de-identify data at end.
• Subcontracting: requires Transnet approval; penalties for undisclosed subcontracts; provider remains responsible for subcontractors; BBEE constraints apply.
• Supplier Integrity Pact and restricted-supplier checks: compliance with integrity requirements and avoidance of restricted bidders.
• Payment and publicity: prices cannot increase; 30-day payment terms from month-end; publicity restrictions on naming Transnet without consent.
