Procurement of aeromedical (heliopter) services for three Helicopters and one Fixed Wing Air Ambulance on an ad hoc basis for the Eastern Cape Department of Health EMS, for 36 months. Requirements

• SACAA licensing: Part 127 and Part 138 with G7 endorsement; licenses/EMS certification to be in bidder’s name.
• Aircraft: not older than 20 years; provide registration certificates and aircraft interior configurations with patient positions and required attachments.
• Flights: longline capability for rescue; 10-minute mobilization time for helicopters; 1 hour for fixed wing.
• Personnel: pilots with minimum 1,000 flying hours; senior medical crew (ECP/doctor) HPCSA-registered; junior crew per DoH provision; CVs and references.
• Insurance and indemnities: comprehensive third-party insurance for crew/patients; formal indemnities; evidence of cover.
• Documentation: detailed SOPs, proof of aeromedical experience, references, and all mandatory bid forms (SBD family) and compliance with GCC/SCC.
• Financial: demonstrate financial standing with documentary proof.
• Compliance: adherence to SACAA, EMS, Part 135/138 requirements; non-disclosure and security requirements.
