Procurement of Hydrocarbon Spill Management, Oil Dam Cleaning, and Hazardous Waste Management Services for the NTCSA Northeast Grid, on an as-and-when required basis during both emergency and normal operational conditions. Bidders should have proven capability in hydrocarbon spill response, oil dam cleaning, and hazardous-waste handling within substations or similar infrastructure, and meet Eskom’s SHEQ and quality-management expectations (ISO 9001-based QMS, CIDB pre-qualification, and related compliance).

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in hydrocarbon spill management, oil dam cleaning, and hazardous waste services for electrical networks or substations;
• A Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 (per QM 58) with a defined Quality Plan and ongoing supplier quality monitoring;
• Compliance with Eskom SHEQ and OHS requirements, including site safety plans and training per the SHE specification;
• CIDB contractor grading and provision of CIDB proof of grading at tender closure;
• B-BBEE status for PPPFA preference (if applicable) and related CPA/Local Content considerations as defined in Annexes;
• Availability to deliver over the contract term (3 years) per NEC3-Style framework;
• Completion of standard returnables and compliance declarations (e.g., Authorisation Form, Acknowledgement, Integrity Declaration, Supplier Particulars, CPA requirements, SBD 6.2 if applicable);
• Confidentiality obligations via NTCSA NDA (vendor engagement).
